Extra Credit Opportunity

I will add seven points (one full letter grade) to a test or other assignment of your choice each time you complete the following assignment:

Learn about local history and culture and earn some extra credit in the process.
  1. Call ahead to ensure that the location you plan to visit will be open.
  2. Visit one of the locations listed below.
  3. Take a "selfie" with the location in the background or keep some evidence (pamphlet, ticket stub, etc.) to prove to me that you actually visited the location.
  4. Write a couple paragraphs on what you learned.  If the location is related to a topic, event or person we have already studied, be sure to give due consideration to our classroom lessons in your written response.
  5. Finally, submit your work via the form at the bottom of this page.  Attach your work using the "Browse" button.
  6. Limit one per week.
